You need to bring back 3rd party API... shutting it down is now going to force me to go with an alternative solution... disappointed

i have vera and purchased the complete line of chamberlain my q garage doors as i knew at the time of purchase i could intergrate the two systems.
killing the 3rd party api with no alternatvie is simply unacceptable... you will force many customers to find alternatives that, well, work with zwave interfaces...
please open your api for developers

I agree.  As long as you have a product that needs its own app and won't cooperate with systems like Vera and SmartThings, you're going to lose customers.

A Z-wave garage door controller is cheaper than MyQ...

I agree 100% with those statements. Not having integration with 3rd parties is an absolute joke. I need to trigger various other events when the garage door is operated which simply doesn't work with the silly app. As for cost, I agree with KrisB so we definitely should not be charged extra for having integration with 3rd parties just as others don't. We pay for it by having purchased MyQ.

I would return it. They won't be fixing this before your return period expires...

Not really sure how Wink was able to get official integration through Chamberlain but they cut off everyone else.  Pretty dumb mistake Chamberlain because everyone in the automation community now tells all new comers to stay away from the MyQ system and stick with a Z-wave opener because Chamberlain doesn't like to play nice with others.

I cant believe this is the official Chamberlain support forum and they ignore threads like this. How difficult can it be for them to acknowledge the issue and say that they'll re-enable the timing schedule feature and enable 3rd party API. It cannot be that hard to do, and is quite ridiculous. Elon Musk is an example of how you run a company...there have been customers complain on Tesla's twitter account and the next day changes are made within the company or technical issues fixed from the CEO himself.
