When it's cold outside and I press Enter key twice on my keypad garage door won't close.  However if I walk over and push the button it will. What's the problem?

More details -

When using the keypad, I press the Enter key twice to close the door.  The door starts closing, but after a few inches it stops and reverses back open.  If I try more than 2-3 times, the MyQ app will report that there have been too many failures, and then ONLY the wall switch will work.

I also noticed this is ONLY with the remote keypad.  If I press the remote in my car, it works fine.  So...

Wall: works
Car: works
MyQ: works
Keypad: FAILS

What gives?

You get smart person of the year award.  Well, problem solved.  Apparently not reading the directions isn't helpful.

in-noutlaw, I recommend using a 9 volt lithium battery for the keypad (they work better in the colder weather). If that does not improve performance it may be time to replace the keypad.

If you continue to experience issues, please send me a note and we'll try something else.

Turns out pressing the button twice closes and then opens the door.  Pressing it once ... closes it!  (doh!)  Anyway, it's a near new unit, just for reference.
