I am in the market looking for a garage door opener. And someone mentioned chamberlain to me. I am both an Alexa and Google Home user. Want to check what model works best.

This wont work with Alexa, and you have to pay monthly to use Google Home. Look at a different product. This is very disappointing.....only company that charges to use this stuff....ridiculous.

Plus you can ONLY close the garage you cannot use it to open.

I believe even the close functionality is currently not working.

This Garage door opener does not currently work with Alexa, but you can just log into the app anyway. There is 1 standing issue... There is a low battery warning that isn't necessarily working correctly. Chamberlain said they fixed it, and for some it did get fixed, but mine did not get fixed. The product was easy to install, and the low-battery warning hasn't upset the device working properly. I don't know what people are talking about paying fees, I don't pay anything. It must be the way that they installed it. It is a device that I would purchase again, despite the low battery warning.

Nobody installed anything wrong you don’t know what your taking about. You have to pay to use Goggle Home with MyQ.

No Alexa skill

Just buy something else. The Chamberlain/liftmaster brands don't support Alexa at all and Google Home not well at all.

LOL. No kidding. I have Chamberlain MyQ, but I just ordered one of these www.gotailwind.com

Works with Alexa, Google Home (I have Alexa), IFTTT (no fee), and is the only solution I could find that will automatically close my door when I leave, and automatically open it when I come home.
