I don't have an iphony or an android phone.  I use the web application to check status and I get email alerts.  So how am I supposed to update my app "to ensure push notifications and alerts will continue to be delivered after January 27, 2017"?  DUH?  And while I'm whining, can't you afford a telephone?  It would be nice to talk to a human about this instead of reading about everyone else's issues.

We have received questions about the steps needed to ensure push notifications and alerts will continue to be delivered after January 27, 2017. The steps below have been revised to add further clarification to the process. Please complete these steps by January 27th: 1. Check your Chamberlain MyQ app version. If you are not on 3.7 or higher, update the app. o On iOS - settings > scroll down to the app > check version. Go to the App store to update if needed. o On Android – check your app version and update via the Google Play Store.

My iPhone app is at version 3.62. The app in the appstore is version 3.7, but there is no option to update it! Only open it.
How do I update it and what are the implications if I don't?

If for some reason they stop delivering tomorrow (which is very unlikely), please call our customer support line and we will be happy to help you reestablish your app to normal functionality.
