Wall button failures

I've gone through about 7 wall buttons in the past couple of years.  What gives?  I've tested the voltage across the two wires and all seems well.  After the first button went bad, the second lasted a couple of years, the third lasted 1 year, the rest have only lasted a couple of days and then fail.  Has anyone experienced anything like this before?!?  The first several were the Security 2.0 buttons that work with myQ.  I've also tried non-myQ buttons as well.  Right now, I have the most very basic button I could find hooked up to it and it has lasted several days, but I'd like to get a myQ button hooked up again, I just don't trust them.  Each one that has failed leaves my garage door open in the middle of the night.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for reaching out to the community.  Can you email us at social@chamberlain.com with the subject line "myQ Community. Wall Button. Jason Hunt" and provide the model number of the wall button that you are referencing?
