Unable to sync with garage opener as there is no learn button just a red reset button that unsyncs anything already synced with it. Overhead Door Garage installed 1999.

MrsC, do you have the model number of the opener? We can check whether this unit is compatible with the MyQ Garage.

I have this problem too.  I have a 1994 Chamberlain remote with no learning button.  I tried setting MyQ up just using the garage door remote (which is what my car homelink units learned from) with no success.  Do you have any thoughts?  I can't see the full model number but it looks like it ends in whg.

Patrick,

If your Chamberlain opener was manufactured in 1994, you should have a green learn button on the motor head. That is the learn button we are looking for when we say press the learn button during programming. Does your opener have safety sensors installed on the opener? The MyQ Garage will only work with openers that require safety sensors. Let me know. You can also reach out to me at MyQCommunity@Chamberlain.com
