Unable to change name on account

I accidentally had a typo in my first name when registering myQ app.  I tried to change it on the desktop website, click save, and it doesn't change.

I've tried on the android app, and get a "Server Error (000)".

Thanks,

txpete, this guide is a good place to start: http://bit.ly/2rHpDNc. If you find you are still seeing "Server Error (000)", let us know and we'll move to next steps. Thanks, Chuck

I am having the exact same issue happen. I don't believe it's anything that we are doing. It's a bug in the API call that both the web site and app make to the server. I also would like to speak to a customer service agent that might be able to update my information for me if at all possible.

Just a suggestion, but someone in Chamberlain's IT department should also be notified of the bug -- especially since this is also the page that users would need to use in order to reset their password if they were compromised and opt in/out of receiving marketing materials. The first creates a security issue for their users, and the second creates a potential legal issue for Chamberlain -- neither is good.

I was contacted by a representative, and a work around is to change your country to something besides United States or Canada, then you can change your name. Bizarre mix of fields, but it worked for me. They said country doesn't effect anything on your account. They are aware of the issue, and working on a fix.

Thanks for the work-around txpete. That worked for me as well. It will be nice to live in the Caribbean for a while until they get this fixed.  :)
