Hi, I purchased both the MYQ-G0301-D and the MYQ-G0303-SP bundle to Connect my Liftmaster 3820-267 garage door opener (made in 2005) to the Internet (MyQ app) and Apple HomeKit (Home App).

I started by setting up the MYQ-G0301-D and got it connected to my Network very easily.

Now in the app It tells me to select my brand of garage door opener and I select Liftmaster and then select that my "Learn" button is "Orange".  Then it tells me to tap the learn button and hit continue in the app.

After I do this I get a pop up message every time saying  "on your garage door opener press and hold the program button until the led turns on, then release"

I do not know what to do at this point.  I do not know what it means by "program button" and If I select the orange learn button again it fails and says "Your attempt was unsuccessful, please try again! adding was unsuccessful."
When I called Chamberlain support they suggested I need to go to my wall mounted open/close button and hit the program button there - but I do not have a liftmaster/chamberlain wall mounted open/close button and instead have a generic Home Depot garage door button.

At this point I have spent 2 hours with Chamberlain phone support, spent hours googling this and have found nothing and an not really aggravated at how terrible this MyQ retrofit experience is.

If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear how to resolve this without waiting 5 more days for chamberlain phone support to call me back...
