Both users would need to use the same credentials to access the account. We are working on bringing multi-user functions to the app. Look for future updates for multi-user functionality!

Definitely need multi-user function ASAP. I bought a Ring Doorbell and their app has multi-user feature which is really awesome.

So, let me get this straight. Chamberlain has a company build a cheap software platform and then sells this garage door opener with this platform, which is basic at best. I believe there is some deception in the basic tasks and functionality of this product. More than one person may live in a house at one time and would need access via smartphone or device, i.e. a tablet. To not have a setting for that seems as if the company hurried through the decision making process and thought they would sell a bunch of units first and then worry about upgrading the platform. Seems like deception.

Multi-users is much needed and is a MUST! Just make it device specific, that way family members can set their own alerts! It's ridiculous that everyone who logs in has the exact same rules.

It can't be that hard. I work in the software industry, I can't imagine their software is much different.

please put on some pressure to get this done soon!!

This is a necessary feature in order to get entire families to make use of MyQ.

In my case, I want to get notifications but my wife does not. Thus, we either need independent logins or some way to specify the email just for notifications. Either of these approaches would work.....and the latter might be a quicker fix.

Thanks!

Would make more sense to be able to alert on different family members' activities.

Wow, I just installed the MyQ to control my garage door. I need access for both my wife and I. With the app on both phones if one person is logged in the other does not have access. This is really not what I expected from reading the sales info. Am I missing something? Has this multi user software running yet?

Okay, this didn't work the first time I tried it, but it is now. Using the same email and password on both Android phone they both are working the way I had hoped for.

If you have the MyQ Home Bridge and set everything up with HomeKit you can do it now rather than waiting on a software update. It would all be handled through the HomeKit App rather than the Chamberlain MyQ app
