Trouble with new Myq Homebridge

Just received the new MyQ homebridge and having a heck of a time getting it setup.. here are the particulars:

Current setup is a MyQ-G0201C universal smart garage opener
MyQ Smart Garage Control App version 3.93.3
iPhone 6s with IOS version 11.2

When I plug in the new Homebridge, the blue light starts to slowly blink.. According to the instructions I have seen posted, I am to open the Myq app on my phone and log in.. It should detect the new MyQ Homebridge. However I can not get it to do this. the App only ever shows my current MyQ opener.. It never picks up the homebridge.
I have tried restarting my phone, the new homebridge. I have tried re installing the MyQ app, but it will never detect the homebridge.

When I go into the Wi-Fi settings on my phone, I do see the new Homebridge broadcasting an SSID, if I try to connect to the homebridge wi-fi connection, my phone will set it up to allow it to connect to my wi-fi network. At this point the blue light turns a solid green. If I go into my Home App, I can actually find the MyQ Homebridge and connect to it. However it only connects as a bridge with no accessories, so it does not actually connect as a garage door..

Even when I have the new homebridge connected to the network, the MyQ app still refuses to discover it.. I am stuck. I have even gone so far as pulling out an old router and hooking that up to separate the 5ghz and 2.4 ghz bands to connect to (I'm currently running a mesh wi-fi system) but still the same.

Would love some help with this.. Why does the MyQ app not discover the homebridge? I even tried doing the steps on a different Iphone and get the same results.

Hey Chuck! Sorry for the delayed reply. I am trying to get the newly released MyQ HomeBridge configured in the LiftMaster or Chamberlain apps, so I can then set it up in the Apple Home app to make it easier for our family to use. I can NOT get it to show up in “Discovered devices” no matter what I try. Including disabling the 5GHz band on my router. My existing infrastructure is a Chamberlain LiftMaster garage door opener without MyQ and a MyQ controller installed next to it in the garage. The MyQ controller works great and has for a few years now. But I can not get the MyQ HomeBridge to be discovered in the app. Even after trying everything suggested on your support pages. Let me know if there is a better channel than a public forum to communicate to help me sort this out. Cheers!
