trouble free years with two WD962KD, failed MyQ Garage door controller and NOW one of them keeps opening on its own. MyQ did not work and is not connected. I bought TWO MyQ to hook up. Bad decision. wasted all day. Tried to set one up on this door that is now failing me. The door 'works', but the yellow light is now flashing (six times). And we will just be sitting in the house and the door goes up. after hours. I unhooked the myq that I was successful on hooking up on the other door. All I tried to do was push purple button to setup the myq. since the door keeps going up now, I have re-done steps for travel and reverse sensing stuff. Like 20 times. I am unplugging and disconnecting (backup) battery terminal overnight.

but geez, I wish I had not bought and attempted to install and use the Myq device. One of my two never would work after putting in serial number, keep getting (311) error code. BT, Wifi, and WPS modes. It SETS the router info, and router sees it, but phoning home not working. again, the FIRST/OTHER one bought at same time works fine now.

Back to door... I will try to call support, but wondered if any one here has any ideas? Door just randomly failing now COINCIDENT to me touching it for the MyQ setup? I don't think so. it introduced some issue.

Hi Chuck. Yes, I called this morning. No one thing/idea. But I unplugged the unit and disconnected the backup battery. Reconnected and it seems like it might be better. Time will tell, since the sporadic nature of it. I am cautiously optimistic.

Door opened "on its own" later in the day, as I was in the garage. I stepped outside and noticed neighbor in car up street. I can't see THEIR door from my vantage point. Long story short, their door remote had become synced with my opener. Held purple button for 10 seconds to reset remote memory. DONE.
