How do I change the time reported to Eastern Standard?

Hi Anthony,

Visit myliftmaster.com and login. Select the Profile icon in the upper-right corner, then edit the Alerts Time Zone setting.

Edit: 
This can also be done via the app. Hamburger menu -> Account -> Edit Info.

I tried doing this on the website (https://www.myliftmaster.com/Account/ManageMultiuserAccountDetails?manage=true) to no avail.  It would appear to save and take me to the homepage.  When going back into my profile settings nothing has changed.  When I tried via the app I get "Server Error (000)."

Howard, we're aware some users are having this issue. At this time, to update the time zone on a MyQ account, change the country to any country except US or Canada, then update the time zone and save. The country will reflect another country, but will not affect the account in any way. 

Using the website: 

1.Click on the person icon on the right side of the screen near “Welcome, ______(user’s name)”

2.Change the country a country other than US or Canada. (This will not affect the MyQ account)

3.Update the time zone on the account.

4.Click Save.

  

Using the MyQ app: 

1.Tap the Menu bars in the upper left corner

2.Tap the account on the bottom of the menu (User’s name)

3.Android: Tap the pencil. Apple: Tap Edit Info

4.Change the country a country other than US or Canada. (This will not affect the MyQ account)

5.Update the time zone on the account.

6.Click Save.

MyQ Community members,

We have resolved the technical issue resulting in error code 000.  You will now be allowed to set the correct time zone, as well as enter and save your state of residence and phone number to your MyQ account. Your MyQ app will update automatically, allowing you to enter the correct info.
