The dreded 309 off line error message

MyQ has been installed for at least a year. Three days ago I had to kill the power to the garage and then turn it back on. Since then I have been getting the dreaded 309 off line error. All net work connections are right-on!

I'm not certain what is meant by "power cycled your MyQ device". I unplugged and replugged the opener, I rebooted my android, and I even deleted the app from my android and reinstalled it. When I go to the opener and hit the little yellow button 3 times and then tell my android's wifi to seek it, it finds it, but when i hit MyQ app, it comes up telling me it's off line.
