Smartthing Integration

Recently on the Smartthings Home Automation community it was stated that Chamberlain was shutting down communication with the Smartthings hub. I believe at last count there are some 2100 of your customers using Smartthings integration that you have just angered. I realise there is an official integration in the works but would not the smart path to have been to leave the unsupported integration running until the official integration was up and running?

I mean seriously I have owned Chamberlain garage door openers on every house I have owned for the last 30 years. To just shut it down like that with little warning shows how little customer care is in your thought process. So I guess my real question is what is the timeline for "official" integration? Or should I begin the quest for a replacement garage door opener manufacturer?

Agreed.  This is bull.  There has been no "Official" integration because both companies are dragging their feet.  The ONLY reason I bought a MyQ door opener is because of this integration and now it's being turned off.  How do I get a refund on my 3 month old opener?

I am actually quite lucky in this case. I was just getting ready to go purchase the MyQ door opener in the next few weeks. My plan was to integrate it with my Smartthings. After this development I certainly will be looking elsewhere. Such a shame ☹️

Just the opposite in my case. I read LiftMaster/MyQ was compatible with my Smarthings hub, and that's why I bought it. Apparently, what I read was outdated. Wish now I would have bought something else.

Maybe though, I can dump MyQ and go with a Linear garage door controller instead?
