Smart hub not working very well...tech support not much better

I kept getting a to many doors error when trying to install a new garage hub. Called tech support and was told this was a known issue and an engineer would have to call me back. The call was scheduled for 8-9am this morning. It's now 115pm and I haven't heard for anyone. I played around with the unit myself and finally got it to work but now get close error messages every second or third time I operate the door. It's bad enough the product doesn't seem to work very well, but there is no excuse for the poor tech support. I expected more from a company like Chamberlain.
