I set up the bridge on the myq app and added to homekit. Siri and homekit work well on my phone. On my ipad I use for the home hub it worked well the night I installed and now the garage door opener shows up in homekit as unresponsive and when I ask Siri on the ipad home hub to open/close the door she says I need tomset up a passcode. All settings are the same in myq app and homekit as on my phone which doesnt ask for a passcode. I have all passcodes turned off in the myq app. My wifes phone works fine with homekit. She doesnt have the MyQ app.

Hi Justin – it looks like you’re pinging my garage door which is probably (definitely) what’s causing the problem. Where are you located? I’m in ZIP Code 36301 my garage door works fine and this is not the first time we’ve had a short circuit like this. It happened a while back on Netflix I think. No worries, we’ll figure it out. Let’s start by trying to understand where we are and what we’re doing OK! I’ll wait to hear from you thanks – Mark
