Bought a second sensor (MyQ-G0302) for my other garage door from Walmart and the documentation says it is compatible with both MyQ Garage (G0201) and MyQ Smart Garage Hub (G0301). The hub led flashes but does not beep when I press the test button during the setup. After that the hub shows yellow light blinking whenever I press the test button on the sensor. But cannot get the app to add the new sensor. Pl. help.

The Chamberlain website indicates that the sensor you have, MyQ-G0302 is only compatible with the Go302-D hub.  Please ensure that your hub is the -D version.  It may need a software update or possibly not the right version and the two are not compatible.  Check with Chamberlain via email at social@chamberlain.com they typically will reach out through an agent or at least a return email. Please include the full model number of the hub in your email.
The sensor web page, https://www.chamberlain.com/additional-door-sensor-for-myq-garage-and-smart-garage-hub/p/MYQ-G0302
Has this information under compatability
"BRAND COMPATIBILITY
  • IMPORTANT: Requires purchase of either the first generation myQ GarageTM (Models MYQ-G0201 and 821LM) or second generation myQ® Smart GarageTM Hub (Models MYQ-G0301 and 821LMB). Each sold separately. Each Hub can control up to two garage door openers."
Hope the above helps.
