I installed the retrofit kit a year ago and all was well now I cannot close the door I get a door close error. Nothing has changed. Please help.

Hi Tony, in some cases the open door interferes with the signal. Please try rotating the MyQ Smart Garage Hub 180 degrees from its current position. Let me know if this does the trick. Chuck

Thanks. To be clear this is a retrofit kit so I replaced the door opener control panels (2 doors) and installed the gateway. I moved the gateway up on my shelf to give better line of sight so I will see if that works as you said. Fingers crossed...

Thanks. This is driving me nuts. We purchased this kit and it worked flawlessly now it's useless if I cannot close the door. We have 2 doors and both have the same issue.
