Push notification issues for chambarlain myq garage door ios app

I've had problems where my garage door openers don't appear to be sending the push notifications properly to my ios device. Sometimes they're just delayed (sends anywhere between immediately to a couple of hours later), but sometimes it will just send the open or close notification but not both. It certainly isn't an internet issue as a push notification does usually send, but as I said sometimes not both and sometimes is delayed. I have multiple iphones on the same account and they all have the same issue with it. And, both of my two garage door openers have the same issue. This is a serious security issue as I depend on the notification to know if the garage door opener opened without mine or a family member choosing to open it.

Did you ever get this resolved?  I'm having the same problem.  Only once in a while do my notifications occur along with it's corresponding history entry.

Never did. Right now it works but once in awhile it doesn't. And sometimes it will still only give one notification instead of two (for opening and closing).

I have the same issue. Only get notifications via the app not when door iopeners are used.

I just installed the MY Q G0201 2 days ago and trying to test Push Notifications. The TEST part it the app works - but actually getting PN when the system is in production seems to be a NO GO.

This was the MAIN feature why I bought this system and to find it doesn't work is a bummer.

I have deleted and re-installed the app multiple times. Everty install I say YESt o allowing alerts, etc.  It's the latest version of the app 3.88.1 on running an IPhone 6. I've checked settings to make sure I'm allowing PN for the app. I've logged in and out of the app a few times. I've tried everything in the FAQ.

Does this feature work reliably for others? Any tips to make it work?

Thanks Lauren - I went thru that FAQ. It actually started working better after about 24 hrs. Maybe it takes time for devices to register with the PN servers? Not sure but I'm getting them now for each event. This really is one of the few useful things I've seen for smart homes, great affordable product that hopefully keeps working!
