Purchased new clicker, now experiencing phantom operation

It's alarming to me to see so many posts by Chamberlain GDO owners who have phantom operation issues, yet no satisfaction on the resolution.

Also frustrating is every link to a solution either doesn't work, or links to an internal KB that customers can't log into anyway!

My issue is hopefully more straight forward.  Up until last weekend I had no issues with phantom operations.  The only thing different is I purchased a Chamberlain G953EV-P2 LiftMaster/Craftsman 953EV-P2 clicker, programmed it and now the phantom operation occurs.

Chamberlain support: Please provide me with active links to a suitable resolution to this issue.  Do I need a new clicker or can it simply be reprogrammed?
