To prevent a garage door from being left opened for too long, please optionally sends continuous notifications every so often to notify the user of the app.

Let the users to optionally enable this kind of notifications, and if so, let them choose how often to get the notifications.

I believe that this will enhance the safety of all users of myq.

That already exists for about the last two-three years. and you can choose push notifications or emails as the type just create an alert for each minutes it’s open

It’s highly customizable

That's odd. I just check MyQ on my Android phone. It is the latest version and does not have anything similar to what you sent.

My screenshot is completed alerts you set open duration and the alert type. You screenshots are indeed showing it.

I noticed on the iOS App Store there is two apps one has a red icon one has a blue. I’m using the blue one (had higher ratings at the time)

Thank you Michael.

I just found out that I need to create multiple alerts. The one I had only sends alert on "as soon as possible". I just created a new alert to "Send me an alert when the...Garage door is open, For longer than 3 minutes By sending me a... Push notification". If I want to be alerted when the garage door was left opened for 10 minutes, then I need to create another 10 minutes alert.

No problem now only if I would have been notified like I signed up for , for the HomeKit bridge upgrade I’d be even happier but I see it’s sold out now :( and never got the email when it was going to be available

I live in a suburban area with a bit of land.  Many days I open my garage door in the morning and don't close it until before bed.  Unless what you suggest were implemented as an option, it would be a real annoyance for me.  You could always use the Wink app to schedule alerts for your GDO.

Alerts are not configured by default I would just use a reminder app if leaving it open all day occasionally
