Phone Number will not update?

I have tried to edit my account settings to be able to send me alerts but neither the Android app nor the web page will save the new phone number.  I cannot get alerts without a phone number and it used to work????  Everything else works (remote open/close, status, etc).

Hi Ed, delivering alerts is based on the device the MyQ app is logged in on and not the telephone number of your device.  Is your device configured to accept notifications from the MyQ app?   I'm sending an article that outlines how to enable alerts: https://goo.gl/i8iaPY  Let me know if this helps.  Chuck

Like Ed, I cannot add my phone number to the app or website.  It won't save any changes to my account information.  Alerts are turned on and enabled.  Can't send me a text to my android phone if the app or website won't take my phone number.

I am having this same issue, can't update phone number, either by app or web, I've tried on 2 different phones

For those with the same issue, there are defects on the app and website that do not allow you to update your phone number or state.  They are working on a bug fix for this issue.  They probably have a release schedule for updates and are waiting for that to occur.

Like Ed and Tom, I have tried repeatedly to update my address and time zone so my alerts will show correct time. Every attempt to do so results in nothing being saved. I have tried thru my apple app, and from the website with no luck.

MyQ Community members,

We have resolved the technical issue resulting in error code 000.  You will now be allowed to set the correct time zone, as well as enter and save your state of residence and phone number to your MyQ account. Your MyQ app will update automatically, allowing you to enter the correct info.
