I am not able to program my opener with the MyQ hub I purchased. After going through all of the steps on the app to get it connected I can only connect the door sensor. After going through the process multiple times of the MyQ attempting to program it still says failure to program. My garage door opener is a wayne dalton but it has no markings on the outside of what model it is besides Quantum.

Michael, here are some instructions for setting up your brand of opener -- Wayne Dalton made after 1999 (372.5MHz):
1. Remove the battery cover on remote control then press and hold the black program button until the LED light on the remote comes on
2. Press and release the learn button on your garage door opener
3. On the remote control, select the button you want to program, press and release that button on the remote 9 times, making sure that the LED light stops flashing between each press
4. Press the black program button to turn off the LED light
5. Test remote
If this doesn't help, please let me know. Lauren

Are those instructions for programming a regular remote? Or for the MyQ itself? I don't think the MyQ control box has a battery slot with a program button? I'm not at home at the moment so I don't have it to look. Thanks!

Where I'm at right now is I have the door sensor on the garage door like it is supposed to be. The my q wifi hub is connected to the internet (the green light is solid) but when I program the wifi hub to the garage door it does not work. The programming for the door sensor works fine and the app tells me the door is shut. When following the steps to press program on the opener itself and then the wifi hub attempts to program to the opener it does not work.

Michael, can you confirm your opener operates at 372.5 MHz (see the opener's transmitter markings). If it's 303 MHz, then our MyQ device is not compatible. Let me know, Lauren

Michael, thanks for the pics. I've sent them to our support team to see if they can identify the unit. Lauren

Michael, those pictures didn't give us the info we needed. Can you find the power head or transmitter's data label? Lauren

Hi Michael, the power head/motor unit is mounted to the ceiling. The back plastic enclosure piece, that was removed from the power head in the photos, has the opener’s data label. The transmitter’s data markings are on the back of the transmitters. Let me know if you can find this info.
Also, Michael, take a look at the below image. If your opener uses the transmitter on the left (or similar), then your garage is not compatible. If your garage door opener uses the transmitter on the right, then it is compatible.

Ah okay. Mine has the opener on the left. Looks like I'll need to make a trip back to Best Buy. Thanks for your help!
