One switch works, one doesn't

We got two switches for Christmas. They're now installed after a friend helped verify the ground. They're side by side in the same switchbox. One works great. The other works partially. It turns on manually, and turns off manually (but sometimes you have to turn it "on" again before it responds to the off. It doesn't respond to a remote or the MyQ network. Both are well connected to the same power and same ground. Any ideas?

Sounds like a faulty switch. I'd call Chamberlain support. I had an issue with my MyQ gateway and they were great. Ended up replacing the gateway.

First, make sure that the antenna for each light switch is straight and fully extended. Verify that none of the wiring behind the switches are pinched or strained. You may want to remove one light and see if each switch works independently.

I pulled the switches out of the box, which guaranteed the antenna wasn't blocked. No change. The faulty one even clicks when I'm trying to program it, but the light doesn't respond. The light still responds when you push the switch. So, it seems like time to try a new light switch. How does that work?
