I've been asking for over 2 years. Why can't we have a custom notification sound for Chamberlain Alerts?!?! The alerts are no good when they sound like every other default notification sound!!! Can it be that difficult to have an option in app to assign another sound for alerts?

Hello? I guess it would make too much sense to make your app notifications sound differently from all other notifications. The apps main objective is to notify when there is garage activity, most of your alerts are ignored because it sounds like at least 20 other meaningless apps alerts. At night in bed I'd love to hear a distinct sound alerting me there was a garage activity. But when you hear the same sound from multiple apps there is urgency to check phone. I don't know what you guys are not understanding about this. Nest unfortunately is the same way. These IoT devices and apps are designed to notify user of possibly life threatening, home damaging issues and you don't see the point of having a different alert sound for your app? 2 years now myself and hundreds. Maybe thousands of people have been asking for this. What's the problem?

YES! I agree please fix this what seems to be a sime problem to resolve Chamberlain. This is very annoying and something that would keep me from recommending your product to someone.

I just wish the notifications would work because they don't. I'd be happy with any kind of sound. The company has major software issues on their website. Anyone have any idea as to why alerts wont save on the website? All manual buttons work  but programming doesn't work at all.

I was running the old Chamberlain myQ app and it provides notifications. Search it in Apple apps and look for icon with the word Chamberlain across the top. I am being emailed by Chsmberlain to migrate to the new app, but as documented here, doesn’t provide push notifications. I will run the old app as long as I can.

Me and my Fiance have installed the new app and have deleted the old.  She uses Apple iPhone and I use Android.  Push notifications still work for the both of us with the new app.

My Father in law with an Android S10 also has the same problem with extremely delayed notifications, or not being notified at all.  I have an Android S6 and I am not experiencing the same issues.

There might have been a great chance to put this issue to rest with your very recent release of the “new myQ App.” It would have been the perfect opportunity to include with your announcement a brief note about the addition of an option to allow users to create a unique alert sound for each connected device. It seems that the opportunity has been lost. But, somehow, after downloading the new app, the standard alert sound has been replaced on my phone with a vibration-only alert - from a security perspective, this outcome is less satisfactory than the default sound. If you have included a unique sound option, thanks, but could you also please advise how I can activate/control it?
Thanks

Whoever coded this must be new.  So many great features overlooked.
