When is Chamberlain going to create a skill, a proper skill (a smart home skill so that can be added to routines) for Alexa to control garage door openers via MYQ? And also why is it that it supports Google Assistant and IFTTT and not Alexa??? - also how greedy can you be for charging for integration such as "Linking your MyQ account to Google Assistant and IFTTT requires a $1 monthly or $10 annual subscription fee"??? Nobody else does this.

I agree with your comments completely!  Businesses that are greedy and unwilling to bring available technologies for people who demand them will not last.

If you can, my advice would be to return the unit for a refund. Then get one of the competitors, Tailwind and garadget are two that come to mind. They will give you the same functionality and they work with Alexa and Google Home with no subscription. The Tailwind will even control your garage door via geofencing, it will open your door as you approach and close it when you leave.
