MyQ Scheduled Close Causing Door to Open?

I have three 8550W's with 880LMW Smart Control Panels and we use the MyQ app frequently. Overall, the system has been working great BUT we have had 2 instances where a door has opened by itself. It happened the first time a couple months ago with our Center door and it occured again last night with our East door. Both times it has happened when I had scheduled Close Door at 10pm. I've attached screen shots of the alerts from the MyQ website from yesterday. You can see from the activity that the East Door was last opened at 4:18pm and then subsequently closed at 4:29pm. At 10:00pm, the scheduled Close Doors was triggered and then simultaneously at 10:00pm the East Door was opened. I received these alerts on my iPhone and then went to the garage to close the door via the wall mounted Smart Control Panel.

This morning, I called Chamberlain customer support and was told that the Smart Control Panels were installed too close together and each of the 3 panels need to be 2 feet away from each other. I was informed that moving them would be the first step in what would be a 2 day troubleshooting process (move them and then wait 2 days to see if issue occurred again).

*Quick side note: the rep also referenced the recall on the 888LM (even though I told her I had the 880LMW) and I would be able to replace only 1 (again, doesn't apply to me as it's a different model, but why would Chamberlain only replace 1 for someone who owns 3?).*

Anyway, I have 2 problems with this. #1: the wires were installed inside the ceiling and wall when our house was built, so rewiring and moving the panels would leave a very unfinished, unprofessional look. #2: as this has only occurred 2x in the 21 months since the openers were installed, moving the control panels and going 2 days without any issues would most likely generate a "false positive" that the issue has been resolved when it might not have been fixed.

I'm posting here to see if anyone else has had this issue. I'm leaning toward the belief that it is an issue with the MyQ app and the schedules options vs where the Smart Control Panels are located in proximity to each other but hoping to get feedback from this community. I would be nice to start troubleshooting with the app instead of moving panels around in my finished garage. In the meantime, I have deleted the Close Door schedule and will wait to see if there is another phantom open.

Thanks in advance for your help!

My system has done the same thing multiple times. I also have mine set at 10 pm to close if the door wasn’t closed. Every time our door is closed and the system doesn’t recognize that the door is closed and tries to close it but it actually opens the door. It only happens every so often but once is more than enough as it puts your home at risk.

Chris, can you tell me if you have 1 or more doors? If you have more than 1, are your control panels 2 ft away from each other? Thanks!

So you have 1 opener with the exact same issue which means it's most likely not from my control panels "being too close together". Well, I'm glad I didn't take the customer service rep's advice and try to rewire my panels so they each would be 2 feet apart! What a load of crap. It seriously irritates me when a company gives a scripted response to every issue without taking a moment to really analyze the problem. Sounds like Chamberlain and MyQ have a serious security issue on their hands.
