MyQ model G0201 has died

My unit, which was purchased in October 2015, worked for several months - sporadically at times - but recently it went completely offline. I've not had any internet issues so I tried to reset the unit manually as instructed by Chamberlain troubleshooting guides. No luck. I cannot seem to get to the "blinking blue light" step. I hold down the gear button, but nothing happens, even after a minute. I have no idea what to do next and feel like the unit has bit the dust. Just to be clear: this unit hasn't been moved from the garage once I installed and commissioned it. It worked well at first, then I began getting false messages (door has been open for 20min; no, it wasn't, etc) and not it isn't connected and won't reset.

Hi John – I apologize that you are having some issues with your MyQ Garage. I understand that you aren’t getting a blinking blue light. What are you seeing? Can you try unplugging the power and reconnecting it? Do you get an LED at that point? These steps may be easier to do if you take the Wi-Fi hub off the ceiling. If you do get an LED after reapplying power, try holding the settings (gear) button in for 10 seconds. If you are still not getting a blue light, let me know.

As far as the issue you described regarding false alerts, this may be remedied by replacing the battery in your door sensor. The battery is a 3 volt lithium, size CR2450.
