MyQ hub learning of Linear garage door opener

I purchased a MyQ Garage and upon first setting it up, I noticed my wifi signal in the garage was weak.  I decided to purchase a Netgear wifi extender to ensure I always have a strong signal.  This was a model recommended by Chamberlain.  Before getting the extender, I did manage to get MyQ setup and working with my router, with a fair bit of difficulty, but once accomplished, it worked like a charm.  Then my extender arrived and I got it set up on my network.  I set my myQ hub back to the factory default settings and used the setupmyqdevice.com page and followed all the instructions.  I get it connected to my wifi extender with a solid green light appearing on the hub.  However, now, when I try to add a device using the learn button on my garage door opener and the app, an orange and green light glows solid on the hub and the app waits for the device to "learn", but it never gets added.  This has become very frustrating, especially where it worked originally.  My garage door opener is a Linear LDO50.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
