MyQ Home Bridge with ML1000EV

Hi,
I have a Chamberlain ML1000EV garage door opener that is compatible with MyQ accessories.  I have recently purchased a MyQ Home Bridge to get Homekit compatibility and to connect my phone to my door opener, but I'm having trouble doing this.
I have connected the Home Bridge to my Wi-Fi, configured the bridge in the "Home" app, but when trying to add the garage door opener in the Chamberlain app, the Home Bridge cannot see and connect to my ML1000EV door opener.
Can someone tell me if the ML1000EV is compatible with the Home Bridge?
The ML1000EV is the garage door opener that is sold outside of the USA, but I'm presuming that because it has MyQ compatibility, then all MyQ branded accessories would work with it?
Hopefully someone will be able to help.

I had the same problem, had to set it up as a new place and go from there. IMHO there is something wrong when setting up in IOS 11.2.1

Hi Shawn, I've tried on my iPad running iOS 10 as well.  Everything on iOS and the Bridge is fine and set up, it just cannot see the MyQ door opener.  Maybe the US and UK MyQ devices operate on different frequencies making them not talk to each other?
The image below is what I see, it just times out...

Then after about 5 minutes it shows this:

Yep ...exact same thing happened to me. When I got to that screen I let it time out, then go back. When you go back a “Transfer Settings” should magically appear. You may have to do it a couple times, for it to work.

ML1000EV is a European garage door operator and is not compatible with US/CN MyQ products.  The MyQ Home Bridge is a US/CN product and not an EU product.

I had this some problem, and I just have the myq home bridge sitting doing nothing, since I orderd it form USA, and nothing said it would not be compatible, even said it would be compatible to myQ devices witch the ML10000EV truely is, but since it operates on diffrent frequency , they offerd me refund if I ship it back to them wich costs more then a new one. I am currenlty looking into hacking the box to use the other frequenching by changing the Crystals, not sure it will work though.
The EU Chaimberland does not offer this product nor did they offer to change it to something else.

I thought the same, so I opened the HomeBridge and also the ML1000EV but gave up.
I've uploaded photos of the radio module on the opener and also the innards of the HomeBridge to my DropBox below if that helps.
It seems the radio module can be replaced on the ML1000EV, with possibly one that supports Security+ 2.0 as stated on the HomeBridge box requirements.

Damn just got scammed too....

No go with ML1000EV...

How it isn't clearly stated that there's a "region lock" is lame.

Reading the product page my setup is compatible.
