MyQ Home Bridge disappearing from a Apple Home/homekit

Two days ago I used Siri/HomeKit to open my garage door remotely. Went to do it again in the afternoon and the garage door was completely gone from Apple home. So yesterday figuring it was something with Apple HomeKit. Reset the the MyQ Home Bridge and the MyQ Smart Garge Door Hub To factory defaults and re-configured everything. Everything was working again until this afternoon when the garage door open disappeared again from Apple Home. This configuration has been working since Dec-January and nothing has changed with the network, setup etc. Has anyone else had this happen? ideas?

How is your Apple ID setup? Single account or family sharing ? How many iPhone devices? Is the bridge and garage door opener disappearing ? Or just the bridge?

Thanks for the reply
1) just using a single account (no family sharing)
2) using an iPhone, an iPad and a HomePod with the HomePod setup for the remote access since I have other HomeKit devices I am controlling.
3) just the opener the home bridge (firmware 1.6j remains in the accessories
When setting up The software transfer the “the garage hub setting etc.” over.

interesting. I have had something similar happen to my Honeywell Lyric home automation. the thermostats would disappear, and with the app open after a few minutes, would suddenly appear. All of this information is stored in iCloud, so you might want to toggle things like keychain on/off and reboot your device. For the bridge, I believe it's the bridge's responsibility to populate the devices, whereas some other systems you have to add the devices manually, but don't hold me to that. you might want to start by turning off Home under Settings, iCloud, Apple ID on all devices except on, that way you don't have to contend with syncing issues. Check if it works reliably then, before enabling Home on the other devices you have logged into the same iCloud account.

The reason I asked about family sharing is that there is a functionality limitation with Family Sharing and HomeKit. Whatever Apple ID is used to create the device and add it to the home can sync all devices across all devices that are logged into that iCloud account. However, if you share your Home Data with family members the sync only works on the device where they first accept the invitation, but will not sync to other devices. It's a limitation in HomeKit regarding Family Sharing. I have been told by Apple that there are plans to fix this in IOS 12.x, but not in the first release. I can confirm that it's still not working in the public beta.

How about if you try to "add accessory" and either go near the hub or scan the HomeKit barcode. does that work? Or does the initial setup always work, but then the device disappears after some time? Does it ever re-appear, or once gone it never returns?

Hope this helps.

Can you send a screenshot of the Device Management page in the Chamberlain app when the garage door openers have disappeared from the Home app?

I just talked to Scott from Chamberlain support and he said this is not their device issue. His recommendation is to call Apple support, even though every other devices using the Home Kit is working. He said he doesn't know how to troubleshoot it since he never even own any Apple device. Great job for training your people!! You guys advertise this device as the Home Kit compatible and when there is a problem, all you can tell us is not your device problem. This is the second one I got. The first one powering off by itself every other day after a few months of using it, now this. I hate the company who doesn't stand by their product and blaming other person.
