MyQ hasn't worked for months using Wink

MyQ says it's Wink'problem and Wink says it's a Chamberlain's issue. 4 months now the MyQ garage door opener has not been working using wink. When you tap the garage door icon on the Wink app it just stinks over and over but nothing happens. If I remove the garage door in the added back in to the Wink app it works for a day or two but then stops working again. I frequently get error messages on the MyQ app.

whenever I contact wink they tell me it's an issue with Chamberlain and then when I contact Chamberlain they tell me it's issue on Winks side. It seems like nobody knows who is at fault they've even told me that they're working on resolving the problem but this is been going on for months and months and I've seen other people posting and having the same problem. Both companies came to work together to resolve this issue because it is quite annoying

I have the same problem. Wink shows that the door has been closed for 59 days so I no longer get notifications. I don't get the notifications from the MyQ app either anymore. I rely on this to let me know if the door has been open too long. Found it was left open all night last night so started me trying to fix this again. Seems like nobody wants to fix it and just blame the other service.

Hi Nicksgaragesd,

Thank you for contacting us. As of now there is not a known issue with Wink and myQ but thank you for contacting us. Is the myQ app working correctly? If so, it could be on Wink's side and unfortunately our tech agents are not trained for Wink We can also escalate your request and have an agent troubleshoot the issue with you. Please email us at social@chamberlain.com with the subject line "myQ Comunity. myQ/Wink-NicksGarageSD". We'll have someone contact you as soon as possible.

This has been a problem for almost a year
Chamberlain says it is a wink problem Wink says it is a Chamberlain problem. I have posted every few months about this. The wink app does not see the status from the chamberlain system. Period. This is a problem that your customers can’t fix without you . This is just the chamberlain way . Most likely they will offer a fix for a fee. Or we will have to buy a new box to make it work.then in about a year that box won’t work either and we will have to purchase another . Come on Chamberlain. Fix your products!!

Yes there is an issue, I you remove the account and add it again in wink it works and you will be able to control the door and get notifications, but after day or two the open/close door functionality stops and only you get notifications?

Took a few tries to get it to work. Notifications are the most important thing to me. Wink has never really worked that well at opening and closing the door. I use the MyQ app to give me the basic notifications of the door opening and closing. I rely on Wink robots to let me know that the doors are open too long. Usually it's from forgetting to close the door. My elderly parents live with me and a few times I was notified the door was open too long and one time my dad had fallen down behind his car. A couple other times they were out there even they shouldn't have been.
