MyQ go201 will not pair with door sensor or with chamberlain garage door

I have the MyQ G0201. Going through the setup process it connects to wifi without issue. It will not recognize the door sensor. If I ignore the door sensor and try to pair just with the garage motor that doesnt work either. It just times out in the app. I have the Chamberlin M385 with purple learn button which should be compatible . I have tried everything I can think of, reset etc. and am out of ideas.

Donald - I apologize that you are having a problem adding your door sensor. We can try to manually add the sensor to the hub. I would like you to start by clearing the #1 and #2 button. To clear these buttons, just press and hold #1 until the yellow LED light turns out (about 8 seconds). Do the same thing with #2. 

To manually add the door sensor: 
  1. Press and release BUTTON 1 on the Wi-Fi hub. Yellow LED will turn on solid
  2. Press and release the test button on the door sensor until the Wi-Fi hub beeps and the light flashes
  3. The yellow LED on the Wi-Fi hub will turn off
You should then be able to add the garage door opener via the app. If that doesn't work, you can also manually add the garage door opener with the steps in this link.

My new WiFi system I’m attempting to connect is in a horrible loop.

I successfully hooked up the WiFi new system and everything worked great except the manual remote controllers. Installing the new WiFi system cleared all the manual remote control devices (in car, portable remote control & key pad).

Reprogramming the remote control devices cleared the WiFi device and it no longer works. The system will not recognize the door sensor.

Surely there’s a way to have everything work together (WiFi system, in car remote, portable remote & key panel).

HELP

I’m giving up until I can get someone on the phone for some personal assistance.

I was able to manually add my garage door however it does not show up in the app or website so there is no way to control it. Shows that I have no devices added. If I log in and go to add it just sits and says waiting for device.

I am sorry to hear that your garage door opener is still not adding. Can you please email me at MyQCommunity@Chamberlain.com? I will need to know the email address that you log into your MyQ Account with. Also, if it is possible for you to email the screen shots of what you see as you go through the steps, that would be great.
