MYQ-G0301 Not Connecting to WIFI

So, I just bought the smart garage hub and it is not working. I downloaded the app, have registered the product online, but cannot connect it to my WIFI network. I can find the smart hub device in the app and I can connect to the hub with my phone....BUT, as soon as I connect to the hub, I see the wifi signal in my notification bar disconnect and I have no more wifi service on my phone. It will ask me to enter my wifi password and then will say it cannot connect and the blue light stays solid. 

I've turned off the smart switch from mobile data to wifi on my phone and it doesn't help. What else can I try? This is rather frustrating. My router meets the specs and I have a good wifi signal.
