MyQ-G0201 won't setup

I purchased my MyQ-G0201 several months ago and set it up and its worked fine. However, I would get emails stating that the MyQ service would be down for maintenance and after the last one my system hasn't worked.

I attempted to reset my device, but it won't connect to the wifi. I go through the steps to reset the device to factory settings, get a blinking blue light connect through bluetooth, and allow sharing of wifi settings. However, rather than go green the blue light goes from solid back to blinking. When I try to access the device in the MyQ app it says the hub is offline. Nothing has changed with my home wifi setup the only change was the maintenance Chamberlain did to the MyQ system. I would really like to get my $100+ device working again.

Gary,

I apologize for the frustration. I will definitely do what I can to assist you in getting this to work again. I just want to confirm that the hub never goes to a flashing blue and green light? It just goes solid blue when you connect to the Bluetooth and then ends up going back to flashing blue?

Gary,

Flashing blue and green are an indication that the hub is having an issue connecting to your router. I will need some information from you. Can you please email me at the MyQCommunity@chamberlain.com with the following information?

  1. What is the make and model of your router?
  2. What is the Wi-Fi signal strength in your garage?
  3. Do you have any network security firewall appliances such as a Sonicwall?

1. Router is compatible, because it was working for almost 7 months.
2. Confirmed 2.4 GHz frequency, again it was working for almost 7 months.
3. Definitely within range, moved right by router same result, and again working for almost 7 months.
4. No special characters in the password.
5. Confirmed correct wi-fi network.
6. Network security is WPA2.
7. No firewall.
8. No firewall.
9. No changes, erased and tried to reset anyway, same result.
10. This finally fixed it, thanks.

I'm having this issue as well.  I did verify the firewall ports are opened up but I get the 217 error trying to add my gateway.  I did also do the reset trick holding in the reset button while powering it on until the yellow light flashed.
