MyQ G0201 not showing up on Home Kit.
I bought the MQ hub on Saturday ( 21st October) from Home Depot, Brampton, ON Canada. I am unable to integrate it with Home Kit. How do I get this working?

Or does this work only with the newer version MyQ G0301?

I’m very keen to have this functionality. Can someone advise?

You also need to buy the Home Bridge to get HomeKit to work.

Wow! Would it work with the newer model G 0301? Or  do I have to get a bridge for that one also?

Thank you David for the reply. Another question: I have a two door garage, one of them has a Chamberlain MyQ garage opener without WiFi, the other one is a Chamberlain (2003 model). I can control both with the MyQ G0201. If I were to get the bridge, do I still need the hub or I can do away with it?

The Chamberlain site says this about the bridge if I were to connect to the MyQ Garage Opener.

" A Chamberlain® MyQ®-enabled garage door opener connected with a MyQ® Internet Gateway. Note that the MyQ® Home Bridge will replace the MyQ® Internet Gateway.

For the non MyQ /Non-Chamberlain it says:

"A non-Chamberlain brand garage door opener connected with a MyQ® Garage or MyQ® Smart Garage Hub.

Bottom line, is do I need both the hub as well as the bridge?

Thanks.

Hi Mathew - for a HomeKit compatible garage door opener, you'll need the MyQ Home Bridge for the MyQ Garage (G0201) and Smart Garage Hub (G0301).   Let me know if know if you have any other question.

Thanks Chuck. It's clear now. I will have to get the bridge for HomeKit compatibility! Not  the ideal solution, but apparently that's the only way out.

Mathew - no problem.

FYI - right now, Canadians can obtain the MyQ Home Bridge from LiftMaster.com but not through Chamberlain.com.
