MyQ Door Sensor Not Pairing to Hub

MyQ Door sensor will not connect to Hub when trying to set up a garage door opener in the app?  I had everything working correctly, but when I tried to add the bridge, it deleted everything.  Now I'm starting over (for the 10th time) and the hub will not recognize the door sensor in the set up, or pairing phase.  I have manually connected the sensor by hitting the 1 on the hub.  It connects and the LED flashes.  But when going through the set up in the app, I can't get passed the "push door sensor button" screen because although I hear a beep, it doesn't pair.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
