MyQ app will not connect over wifi

I've had my system working for over a year, but suddenly the phone app will not connect on my wifi network. If I turn off Wi-Fi the app will connect over the cellular network. Meanwhile the garage door system is happily connecting to my Wi-Fi network or else the door wouldn't work when I give it commands frim the app.

What could be causing the app to have this trouble connecting over Wi-Fi?

No...this is not helpful! We have the garage doors set up correctly! The issue is when I’m trying to use the mobile app to open or close the door while on my homes wi-fi! I’m unable to log in! If I turn wi-fi off and utilize my cell service I can log in and the app performs correctly.

Please help. I have tried everything and I get the endless search for my wifi signal with no luck after connecting the MyQ network and going to the setup site.

Matt, it sounds like you're trying to do the Wi-Fi setup and are having issues with getting the http://setup.myqdevice.com/ page to load? If this is the case, please make sure you're fully typing the address in with no extras (e.g. http:// or www.) If this doesnt work, try clearing the cache of the browser on your phone. - Chuck

I am having the same problem, myq worked for about 6 months and now it won’t go online. I deleted the app and started the process over and still can’t get it online. The router was reset also.
