**myQ App Service Announcement**

This is why we need to be able to open without the cloud. You know, without all the subscription since your the only one charging for it? If you charge, it need to be 24/7/365. Now this morning, I nearly didn't reach my car because it wouldn't open. The door opener is in my car si ce, well, that's where it goes. I do have a door under 8 feet of snow (Québec!) so yeah I nearly didn't get to work.

Stop screwing around, give us direct access to the garage opener with a firmware update, allowing me to control it through WiFi through an onboard api of the garage opener that doesn't require any cloud access so solution like openhab can open it and query it directly without relying on the cloud. This is the future, not cloud only device that work only when internet or the service provider decide to be online, and get brick when it goes Mia like many.
