MyQ App automatically logs out, therefore no app alerts

We have been using the MyQ app for our Chamberlain garage door opener.  The app works fine for alerting, as long as it is open.  Seems like a new issue, but the app now automatically logs out after a period of time. If the app isn't open, I don't receive alerts I've programmed (like garage has been left open), which is why we purchased this particular opener.  I don't see any settings in the app to keep it logged in.  Installed on iOS 12.0.1 device, with MyQ app up to date.  Any help is greatly appreciated. I did add email alerts as a backup for now, but not ideal way to be notified.

Good Luck! I was having a chat with "support" earlier today and they told me they couldn't help me if I wasn't in my garage. I told them what good would that do as I am doing everything correctly, getting connected/working fine and then an hour later it disconnects! They would not do anything without me being home. I told them to back their product and send someone out. They said they don't have anyone to send out. Real nice!

I'm not clear if this is what you are experiencing or not being you said your app closes but you should get alerts whether it is "open" or not.
