MyQ Additional Garage door sensor (MyQ-G0202) pairing

I am trying to install additional garage door sensor (G0202). All installation (pairing) steps are fine and finally I've got "complete successfully" messages. But if I want to open the garage door with sensor 2 (Beep twice), sensor 1 (Beep once) door is also opened. It works both sensors 1&2 at same time. I reset the hub and pairing sensor 1 & 2 again, but it's same thing.

Please help! Thank you.

Hi Jae - what kind of connected device are you using? Are you using your two G0202 sensors with MyQ Garage? Or a MyQ-enabled garage door opener?   Lauren

Jae,

I think I just had the same issue (if you're using the original MyQ G0201).

From my experience, you'll have to erase all the codes to both of your garage doors, delete the MyQ from your account, and then reload MyQ (and all of your physical remotes since you erased them).  The problem I had was I had to reload the doors and did them in the opposite order as I did when I first added them.  I think MyQ has two codes and applies those to door1 and door2 in the order you add them to MyQ.  Your door openers don't know when you add/delete/reload doors in your MyQ account.  If the left door was originally programmed to accept the code for door1 but you later use that code for the right door, then both doors will be commanded when you select door1 (right door) in the app.

Erase all codes, delete and reload the MyQ in your account, and start over.

Hope this helps,
Brian
