My app won't add a second garage door

So I have the MyQ system and have added my first garage door with no issues. I can open everything just fine. When I add the second garage door it goes through the whole process, it says that everything successfully pairs and opens the second door. After I hit OK in the app it goes back to the screen that says this process might take up to 15 minutes. It just stalls there forever at that point. When I added the first door it asked me what I wanted to name it and took me back to the main screen. I have tried deleting all the doors and trying again with no luck as well as restarting the app entirely. Help please!

You have a second door sensor on the second door?

Test that the second door sensor is working correctly with the Wi-Fi hub.
Press/release the Test button on the second door sensor, the hub should beep twice. (twice for the second door)
Press/release the Test button on the first door sensor, the hub should beep once. (once for the first door)
The doors and the beeps may be reversed, but one sensor should cause hub to beep once and the other sensor cause the hub to beep twice.
If that is not occurring, then need to know what the "beeps" for are each door sensor.

Mine does the same. It’s just stays on the “may take up to 15 minutes” screen forever. Seems to learn the code alright, just doesn’t want to let me name it so it never finishes the pairing process.

Oddly enough, the very first time I set the system up this was actually the first door sensor I paired. It worked perfectly then. Now it hasn’t worked since. My secondary sensor does pair and works, just not this first one anymore. Tried resetting everything imaginable multiple times.

Aaron, have you tried these tips?:

-- Test that the second door sensor is working correctly with the Wi-Fi hub.
-- Press/release the Test button on the second door sensor, the hub should beep twice. (twice for the second door)
-- Press/release the Test button on the first door sensor, the hub should beep once. (once for the first door)
-- The doors and the beeps may be reversed, but one sensor should cause hub to beep once and the other sensor cause the hub to beep twice.
-- If that is not occurring, then need to know what the "beeps" for are each door sensor.

Let me know, Lauren

Lauren,

Yes I have confirmed that both are paired and produce the correct number of beeps. For some reason only the two beep sensor shows up in the app.

In addition, I cannot get the Home Bridge through the “transfer devices” setup. I’ve tried about 5 times and always get stuck with it waiting forever to learn the yellow button. Then it times out

Hello. I recently installed a MyQ setup. I got the garage door working with the myq app, so I proceeded to install the Home Kit hub thing so I could use the Home Kit stuff on my iPhone. And it has worked wonderfully. So the other day I ordered up a add-on door sensor so I could make the second door do the operation from my phone as well. However, I can not figure it out this time. When I start the process to add the other door the app goes straight into wanting to learn the garage door opener, and says nothing about the sensor. It’s like the app forgot its order of operations. I do what it says, find the learn button on the opener, press it, wait.... nothing. Even let it sit while inate dinner. Still nothing. The first door was so easy. What am I missing?

I also cannot get my second sensor/opener to work.  When I try to add the second sensor in the iPhone app, it errors like it doesn't see a second sensor.  When I test the hub buttons, both sensors beep according to their placement (1 beep - sensor 1, 2 beeps - sensor 2).  I have had nothing but problems with the MyQ hub.  Always takes 5 or 6 attempts for it to work.  Chamberlain Support is horrific and basically worthless.

I have a very similar issue, except I can connect both doors to the wifi hub no problem; they both appear in the app and work fine.

The problem occurs when I try to add the HomeBridge....the transfer of the first door works just fine, but it fails/times out when transferring the second door.
