Is it possible to link our myQ garage door openers with our Nest without using a smartphone app? I don't see any way to do this on the mychamberlain website

The integration between MyQ and Nest is worthless so it really doesn't matter.

While I agree the integration is not all that useful, one thing I recently discovered is that when linked, I get constant motion alerts for my Dropcam Pro.  Using the Nest app alone, you only get an alert every 30 minutes there is activity.  For whatever reason, integrating my Dropcam with my HD950WF bypasses the one alert per every 30 minutes rule.  I linked them a month ago but recently found and enabled motion notifications in the MyQ app.  It's annoying as hell when my kids get home from school because I can get 1 or 2 motion alerts per minute.  When no one is home it's great to get alerts every time there's activity not just once every 30 minutes there is activity.

Hello Keith – You will need the MyQ app to link the MyQ and Nest apps together. Here are the steps for linking to Nest.

  1. Create a MyQ Account using your mobile device
  2. Press the menu bar(upper left corner) within the MyQ App select the Account tab
  3. Within the account tab, select Account linking
  4. Scroll and find Nest
  5. Tap the Link option to begin linking the 2 accounts

That's a bummer. We don't have any Android or iOS devices. Since Chamberlain doesn't support any Windows devices then we are SOL.
