lights wont stay on on the gateway when i plug it in

so i follow the instructions for the gateway and cant get any lights blue or green to stay on....rebooted router, tried different ports, looked at settings in router, not sure what the problem is. this shouldnt be difficult

John - I apologize you are having an issue getting the gateway to connect. What router are you using? I have also included a link below with additional troubleshooting steps for this issue.

my gateway came with a bad ethernet cable, was lucky I set it up in my basement with a cable I had. When it did not work with their cable it was easy to figure out.

Just add a timer function to the APP, my return date is coming up. I would hate to have to return it all.
