LiftMaster 3255m issues after a storm...funky flashing lights... logic board bad?

Bad storms rolled through appear to have taken out our Liftmaster 3255m door opener.  The light bulb doesn't activate (changed the bulb) and the device 'clicks' when the hardwired button or the remote clickers are pressed.  The sensors are enabled and one is green, the other yellow which is how they've always been.

The light by the 'learn' button flashes 5 'slow' times then does 6 'quick' ones then repeats, which isn't mentioned in the manual.  5 flashes supposedly means overheated or replace the rpm sensor, and 6 is a replace logic board....  I'd guess the board blew in the storm but was hoping someone here might be able to confirm...funds are tight so if it's just the board I can probably replace that.  I'll pull it apart tonight and see if I can see any damaged board components.
