Oh my god, this what you've been working on?? Seriously? People have been demanding IFTTT for YEARS. If you had focused on that, you wouldn't need to waste your time on this.

This post shows that a schedule can be set for the garage door.  I just bought the MYQ-G0201 a week ago and the main reason was because of this feature.  I tried to create a schedule and got a "Save Schedule Failed' error,.  When I posted a question about it to this forum, the response I got is that this features is going to be disabled in December 2017 - a year away.  No help on why it won't work for me now.  Why are you promoting something that is going to be disabled and you are not currently supporting?

It was disabled already. They can't even get the year right in official communications, wouldn't expect scheduling to work either!

I'm bummed scheduling doesn't work right now. It's one of the main reasons I bought it. But geez, it's the holidays, get over it and stop being such a grinch. I'm sure they'll fix it eventually. Better to have scheduling shut off than having my garage door freak out and open while I'm out of town. I can still open and close it. My 90 year old grandpa couldn't believe it when I showed him.

- UPDATE -

Last month, we notified you about a system issue affecting MyQ Garage Model #MYQ-G0201 used in conjunction with the MyQ scheduling app feature. A low battery in the door sensor of the MyQ Garage could be prevent the door from closing as scheduled.

Our development team is committed to solving the issue as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience while we create the software updates that will enable the scheduling feature to be turned back on in the near future. To ensure your equipment is working properly prior to the software update, please check and replace the battery if needed.

MyQ Garage - Door Sensor Battery Test:

  1. On your garage door, locate the door sensor.
  2. Press the button and release. Look out for 1 LED flash while pressing the button followed by a short beep and 2nd LED flash on the door sensor.
  3. Repeat Step 2 five (5) more times for a total of 6.
  4. If you do not hear 6 corresponding beeps from the hub or if the sensor’s LED does not flash every time, replace your sensor battery immediately (CR2450 battery).

A replacement CR2450 battery can be purchased from any major retailer that sells batteries. Test your battery every 6 months to ensure your MyQ Garage system continues to function properly.

Please be assured that you can continue to use your MyQ products and smartphone application in a safe and secure way. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please visit http://chamberlain.custhelp.com/ for additional information.
