I recently added an EzViz home IP camera system, which is conflicting with MyQ internet gateway (it thinks's the gateway is an unauthorized ip camera). Will changing to the home bridge, which connects via wifi, solve this issue?

Jim, thanks for the info. While I can't confirm if going to the Home Bridge would resolve the issue, I{ cameras and DVR software will sometimes confuse the Gateway for a camera which can lead to issues with the Gateway connecting. When this occurs, changing the software from auto scan to manual will typically resolve the issue. If you're unsure how to do this, you will need to contact Ez Viz (or whoever makes the software). This should fix the issue.

Thanks, Chuck

Chuck,
I called Ezviz and they aren't able to fix the issue on their end, which stinks as it looks like now I'll have to buy a Home Bridge to try and fix it. Thanks for suggestion.

Jim, thank you for taking the time to provide an update.  I wish I had a promo code I could provide you, but we currently aren't offering any promotions for our MyQ Home Bridge.  Let me know if you have any other questions. If you try the Home Bridge fix, please keep me posted. Thanks, Chuck
