I can't add a Garage Door Opener to my Internet Gateway.  The garage door opener has a date of 7/13, model hd930ev it's a belt drive.  I've tried all of the tips on this forum several times...effective a hard reset of the gateway.  No luck.

Any tips?

Same here. Tried every fix. GDO is a Liftmaster 3245, 2006. MyQ internet gateway registered but it will not allow me to add the garage door opener no matter how many times I try. Learn Button is purple and located on the motor. Tried pressing once, pressing twice, working from my laptop, using the app, using the Liftmaster app. Reset gateway twice, light is solid green, turned off router to reset, still times out and won't connect device.

The opener you have is not MyQ compatible.  The purple learn button was before the MyQ technology.  In order to make your opener MyQ compatible, you will need a MyQ door control panel, the 888LM.  Since the 888LM is hardwired to the motor, it receives the open/close signal from the gateway and communicates with the motor.

Fyi, your own website states that openers with purple learn buttons are compatible.

Yes it says compatible if upgraded using a connectivity kit which comprises of the gateway and a  MyQ hardwired control panel which would replace the existing control panel.
