I am having issue trying to connect the myQ to a ASUS RT-AC88U. The device gets detected in the app but after entering the network details, it fails to register. "Wi-fi hib has failed to register"

You might have a password to detailed for the myq

Make sure channel width on your 2.4GHz is set to 20mhz or auto. Not 40 or 80 if it’s there. If that doesn’t work

Try a temp password change to something simple without any special characters if you are using any.

I tried changing the channel bandwidth to 20 and set the wireless mode to "legacy" but still does not connect.

when i tried to go through "setup.myq.com" it throws me the error " The wifi has a valid network name and password but it cannot establish a connection to your router"

That’s all I can think of I’m using Ubiquiti Access points for my Wi-Fi and didn’t have those issues.
