I am having a setup issue.

I am having a setup issue.  When I go to 'Select Opener', I chose my brand of garage door opener and entered the color of the program button and hit 'Program Door Opener'.   The app then tells me that  'Learning has completed successfully'; however, my screen on my phone still has that it is attempting 1 of 1.  I have  deleted and added the app several times but it keeps getting stuck in the same place.  Help!

Thanks Chuck for the quick response. It was the MyQ Universal Garage Door Controller. I returned it to the store today. It had been previously returned so it may have been defective. I purchased an unopened one (although it was manufactured in 2014), I was able to connect it in 10 minutes. Hopefully, I won't have any issues in the future.

Same problem after changing my router and resetting myq to factory settings. My opener is Chamberlain Power Drive with purple button. It was all working fine until this.

Hi Lauren, I have a solid green light and the myq device hooks to my network. It's the app that freezes.

Signal in that area is 4 bars of 4 on any other device. It is close to the router.

I have the same problem. It gets stuck in attempting to connect with the garage opener.

I After deleting my home setup in Places and re-creating a new Place it finally worked!
